Taylor Swift announces new album, 'The Life of a Showgirl'

Swifties got a late night feast Monday as Taylor Swift teased her 12th album, "The Life of a Showgirl."
The countdown on her website revealed the title and an orange and minty green colorway, with options to pre-order a vinyl version, cassette, tape and CD version, of the album, with the official release date to be determined (though copies will ship before October 13).
But there was no cover art or track list available, and that's because we'll find out when she appears on Travis and Jason Kelce's podcast, "New Heights" on Wednesday.
The podcast posted a teaser of Taylor pulling out the album and showing Jason the official look.
"So I wanted to show you something," she teased, pulling out a minty green briefcase with orange accents and her initials, "TS," on the front.
On the preview clip, she holds up the album with a blurred cover, announcing, "This is my brand new album, 'The Life of a Showgirl,'" prompting a scream of excitement from Jason and an enthusiastic, "TS 12!" from Travis.
Taylor didn't share any song titles, but gave fans clues with a Spotify playlist titled, "And, baby, that's show business for you," with songs from past albums, like "Bad Blood," "Blank Space," "Gorgeous," "I Knew You Were Trouble," and "Style."
The frenzy started earlier in the evening when it was confirmed she was appearing on "New Heights," coupled with other teases about a big announcement happening at 12:12pm EST on August 12.
