Taylor Swift teases 'The Life of a Showgirl: The Shiny Bug Collection' vinyl
It's another Taylor Swift surprise drop!
On Monday, a new countdown started on Taylor's website, this time with a glittery purple background.
At 2 pm EST, she revealed two limited edition versions of her "The Life of a Showgirl" album, dubbed "The Life of a Showgirl: The Shiny Bug Collection."
The two vinyls, a green version and a purple version, are only available for order until Wednesday, August 20, and include the previously announced songs, plus a "unique shiny big edition poem" and additional photos.
The significance of "The Shiny Bug" versions remains to be seen.
She had previously teased the release of "The Life of a Showgirl," late Monday with an orange glittery background on her website, revealing the news that the album was coming at 12:12 am on August 12.
The next day, Taylor appeared on Travis Kelce's "New Heights" podcast, revealing the cover art for the album and the track list (she also dropped the info on her social media).
Taylor's 12th album has 12 songs: "The Fate of Ophelia," "Elizabeth Taylor," "Opalite," "Father Figure," "Eldest Daughter," "Ruin the Friendship," "Actually Romantic," "Wi$h Li$t," "Wood," "CANCELLED!," "Honey," and "The Life of a Showgirl," featuring Sabrina Carpenter.
"The Life of a Showgirl" drops on October 3.
