'The Paper’ trailer: First look at 'The Office’ spinoff and the struggling staff
Dunder Mifflin is back... kind of!
“The Paper” is a follow-up series to NBC’s beloved sitcom “The Office,” which follows the staff at a struggling Midwestern newspaper.
In the trailer, Ned Sampson (Domhnall Gleeson) joins the Toledo Truth Teller as the new editor-in-chief who’s ready to hit the ground running with his new team, who share an office space with a toilet paper company. He’s in charge of his quirky staff, who are played by Sabrina Impacciatore (from “White Lotus” fame), Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Kelly and returning to the paper business, Oscar Nuñez, who played Oscar Martinez in the OG.
“How many of you have actually written for a paper before?” Ned asks his staff of “journalists.”
“I wrote a paper in junior high,” one staffer responds. Another says, “I’ve tweeted.” Seems like Ned has his work cut out for him!
