The legendary rock group the Steve Miller Band have canceled their entire 2025 tour.

The band’s social media accounts released a statement blaming mother nature for their decision, “The combination of extreme hear, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires make these risks for you our audience, the band and crew unacceptable. You can blame it on the weather the tour in cancelled.”

The statement continues, “Don’t know where, don’t know when... We hope to see you all again.”

The group, comprised of Steve Miller, Kenny Lee Lewis, Joseph Wooten, Jacob Petersen and Ron Wikso had 31 dates scheduled for their American tour which was going to kick off on August 15 in Bethel, New York and make its way through the states to end on November 8 in Anaheim, California.

Lead singer Steve Miller is the founder and only consistent member of the Steve Miller Band. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2022.

Notable past members of the Steve Miller Band include Boz Scaggs, Lonnie Turner, Gary Mallaber, Norton Buffalo and Billy Peterson.
