WASHINGTON (SBG) - Host of the once popular TV show "To Catch a Predator" Chris Hansen was arrested for larceny, according to TMZ.
The report states that Hansen was arrested in Stamford, Connecticut after two checks bounced to a local mom-and-pop shop for nearly $13,000.
According to TMZ, he bought 355 mugs, 650 vinyl decals and 288 t-shirts in 2017 for marketing events.
Hansen did offer to pay the vendor in four payments but the owner declined. The TV show host sent a number of emails to the owner asking for an extended time to pay the money and even claimed he would sell some of his personal property but the second check bounced.
Hansen turned himself into police Monday.
