Tobey Maguire wants joint custody of son with estranged wife

Tobey Maguire is seeking joint custody of his 16-year-old son, Otis

Nearly five years after jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer filed, Maguire responded to her divorce petition in new legal documents obtained by TMZ.

Filing his response on Wednesday, the “Spider-Man” star is requesting issues related to child and spousal support be determined via a private mediation and indicated they have a prenuptial agreement.

This was a response five years in the making. It was October 2020 when they filed for divorce, but it was four years prior that the couple announced they were calling it quits.

The pair also have a daughter together, Ruby, who turned 18 in November, so there aren’t any outstanding custody issues now that she’s a legal adult.

Even though it seems the divorce is moving slowly, Jennifer moved on and announced her engagement to billionaire heir Geoffrey Ogunlesi.
