WASHINGTON (7News) — Imagine seeing Tom Cruise while on a trip to the movies. Cruise surprised a D.C. theater on Tuesday by showing up in person to introduce his new movie "Mission: Impossible -- Dead Reckoning Part One." The movie is the seventh in a 27-year-old franchise.
WJLA was at the AMC theater in Georgetown for his special introduction. "It's great seeing you, how are you?" Cruise asked the crowd.
"We worked a lot of time and very excited to be able to have this opportunity to show you this on the big screen," Cruise said. "This is why we do it for this moment right here, so y'all enjoy."
