Underwear outrage! Kim Kardashian’s hair-raising new SKIMS product has fans freaking out

Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS shapewear brand has entered a whole new territory: a thong with faux pubic hair attached.

Aptly named the Faux Hair Micro String Thong, the barely there underwear has a "a mix of curly and straight faux hair in twelve different shade variations," according to the SKIMS website.

SKIMS announced the product launch on Instagram with a series of ‘70s game show-inspired videos and photos.

“Who said the carpet has to match the drapes? Our most shocking panty, ever, is available now,” one ad promised, with the actual product blurred out on the social media site.

But fans have had some mixed reactions to the product.

“Kimberly, pls show me the market research. Who asked for this?” one person demanded in the comments.

Another wrote, “Just because you CAN make something, doesn’t mean you should.”

At least one person acknowledged that Kim always knows how to get people talking, writing, “Boy does the girl know how to market.”

Several made references to notorious murderer and subject of the current season of “Monster” Ed Gein, who infamously collected women’s body parts.

“Ed Gein would have loved these,” one person quipped, while another wrote, “Very Ed Gein of you Kim.”

Certainly not the most flattering comparison for the product, which cost $32 and are already sold out.

“SOMEONE PLZ TELL ME WHY THESE ARE OUT OF STOCK WHO IS BUYING,” one person wondered.

This is not the first anatomy focused product SKIMS has put out this year.

Back in May, Kim introduced the SKIMS Ultimate Pierced Nipple Push-Up Bra, which is designed to give the look that its title implies.
