NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The popular show "Unsolved Mysteries" is getting a reboot on Netflix in hopes viewers can once again help investigators close some long-opened cases.
Netflix made the announcement saying the show will "haunt a new generation" on Friday.
The original creators have teamed up with producers of the smash hit "Stranger Things."
The new reboot boasts a modern take on the Unsolved Mysteries series, which first aired in the 1980s. It not only covered crimes, but of love that's been lost, paranormal events and unexplained events. Viewers were encouraged to call in with tips to help solve the mysteries.
