Taylor Swift’s new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” features a track titled “Elizabeth Taylor,” named for the late Hollywood icon.

But how did Elizabeth Taylor’s son, Christopher Wilding, feel about the song?

Wilding praised Swift, telling TMZ she is a "rare, positive role model for young girls" adding he’s always "admired her philanthropy and courage to stand up for what she believes."

He said the “Cruel Summer” singer shares those qualities with his mom, and told the outlet he thinks the two would have gotten along had they met.

Wilding is in the dark just like the rest of us about what the song is actually about, but he does hope it’ll bring some attention to his mom’s legacy for younger generations.

Swift released the artwork and track for “The Life of a Showgirl” on Wednesday, both on social media and her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s podcast, “New Heights.”

In some of the images for the album, Swift dons a black bobbed wig and dramatic makeup, giving her a look similar to one of Taylor’s iconic roles, “Cleopatra.”

Swift has mentioned Taylor in her lyrics before.

Her 2017 song “Ready for It?” off the “Reputation” album mentions “He can be my jailer/Burton to this Taylor,” referencing Taylor’s romance with actor Richard Burton.

Elizabeth Taylor was married eight times, including twice to Burton, and was the subject of intense media coverage and scrutiny, not unlike Swift. She was also known for her philanthropy, business and branding savvy, and glamorous lifestyle, on top of her her talent as an actress, which earned her two Oscar wins.

Think we’re seeing the connection already!

“The Life of a Showgirl” is available for pre-order now and comes out on October 3.
