Willie Nelson receives COVID-19 vaccine at Texas emergency room

AUSTIN, Texas (KEYE) — Country music legend (and, at 87, member of Texas' Phase 1B vaccination group) Willie Nelson has received his COVID-19 vaccine.

Nelson received his vaccination at the Family Emergency Room in Cedar Park near Austin, Texas.

In a post shared on their Facebook page Wednesday, Family Hospital Systems thanks Willie for helping them slow the spread of COVID-19.
