'And that's no bull!' Watch first responders in Colorado rescue pet bull stuck in mud

Authorities in Colorado "bulled" out all the stops when they rescued a bull that wandered into a pond and got stuck in the mud.

A series of videos shared by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Officeon Wednesday shows first responders working together to get the animal out of the mud.

This poor pet bull’s day is about to get a lot better with the help of Animal Control and Fairmount Fire," the sheriff's office noted in a post on X, which is the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

In one video, the bull is seen struggling to free itself from the mud.

The sheriff's office on said they attempted multiple strategies to help the bull.

They tried to push!

They tried to pull!

But they weren't successful.

So, they "bulled" themselves up by their bootstraps and gave something else a go.

"What did work? FOOD! And that’s no bull!" the sheriff's office said.

Footage captured a first responder holding a bucket of food under the bull's mouth and leading the animal out of the pond to safety.

The department said the bull became stuck in the mud in a pond near Highway 93. According to reports, the animal escaped from a nearby property before getting stuck.

The bull was reportedly reunited with his family.

It's safe to say everyone involved was happy everything came around "bull" circle.
