WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WKRC) — Authorities discovered a "stinky" surprise inside a burrito.
The Washington Township Police Department issued a statement to its official Facebook page Sunday regarding a suspicious burrito that was reported by an Uber Eats driver.
"When your burrito delivery comes with extra greens... and we're not talking guac!" police wrote.
According to authorities, the Uber Eats driver picked up an order in Lindenwood, New Jersey, but after noticing "the strong smell of marijuana wafting from the bag," they pulled over and contacted police.
Officer Lou DeStefano unwrapped the foil and discovered and ounce of marijuana. The order also included a bottle of water and a box of soup.
"The 'burrito' is now in evidence, and we're cooking up an investigation," authorities wrote.
