WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (WOLF) — A five-year-old from Pennsylvania is in the running to be the Mullet Champ in his age group in a national competition.
Kamden Cunningham and his mullet, the Kammander, are part of Mullet Champ’s annual contest of 300 contestants ages five to eight.
There are three rounds of voting with the first round ending on July 17th.
Kamden got his mullet last year after his older brother decided to cut Kamden’s long hair with scissors they found.
“And after that we were trying to do a hairstyle that would actually fix it so that it didn’t look so uneven because his hair was probably the same length but all around. So we showed him some pictures and he decided to go with the mullet," said Kelsey Cunningham, Kamden's mom
