A man known as the Burnsville Batman was charged with second-degree trespassing, the Yancey County Sheriff's Office said.

The man, Samuel David Daniels, received the charge for returning to the Chamber of Commerce after being told not to be on the property.

Daniels was given a $1,000 unsecured bond and made bail on Wednesday, Feb. 12, the Yancey County Sheriff's Office said.
