CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KGAN) — There's going to be more Caitlin's and Clark's in the world due to the popularity of the former Hawkeye and current Indiana Fever player.
That's according to a new report from parent site BabyCenter which studied the top trends of baby names so far this year.
Caitlin Clark had a lot of eyes on her during the NCAA Women's basketball tournament, breaking viewership records. She continues to sell out arenas and set viewership records now playing the WNBA.
As a result, the name "Caitlin" is up nearly 1,600 places for girls and "Clark" is up 15 spots for boys.
