Chill pup goes viral in ride-along with animal control

MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A social media post shared by a South Carolina animal control officer on the Marion County Animal Shelter’s Facebook account has gone viral.

The officer shared a picture of a dog that he picked up appearing to be very relaxed in the truck.

"When animal control picks you up but you don’t care cause you riding in ac ????" the post read.

The post has been shared more than 8,700 times and has generated over 2,600 comments.

One of the thousands of comments read, “Give him a badge and radio he is reporting for his shift.”

Another viewer wrote: “He looks like he’s saying where are we headed next boss.”

Some people said they’re glad the animal control officer showed such love and care for the dog and hope he’s adopted soon.
