Curious deer plays ding-dong-ditch in Washington state

OCEAN SHORES, Wash. (KOMO) — A curious deer was caught on video this week playing its own game of ding-dong-ditch.

The video shows the deer cautiously walking up the steps of a woman's Ocean Shores home, put its nose up to the door, and then trot away down the walkway after the camera system loudly announced "you are being recorded."

A KOMO News viewer shared the video with us, saying the deer was "knocking" at her front door.

Deer have been out-and-about in Ocean Shores this week, apparently. Over the weekend, a viewer also shared video with KOMO News showing a bold buck walking into a candy store.
