BOSTON (WKRC) - Due to a bizarre set of circumstances, this MLB player will soon become the first player to play for both teams in the same game.

The Blue Jays and the Red Sox were playing a game at Fenway Park in Boston on June 26 when inclement weather forced the game to be postponed.

At the time of the postponement, Danny Jansen was a member of the Blue Jays. Just over a month later, on July 27, Jansen was traded.

Traded to which team? The Red Sox.

The game that began on June 26 is scheduled to conclude on Monday, August 26, but with one small difference. Jansen will still be on the diamond, but he'll be batting for the other team.
