DiGiorno releases Thanksgiving-themed pizza complete with turkey, gravy, green beans and more

WASHINGTON (TND) — In the mood for something a little different this Thanksgiving? DiGiorno has you covered.

The pizza brand on Wednesday unveiled its new "Thanksgiving Pizza" that has all the classic holiday dishes: a gravy sauce, turkey, potatoes, green beans, cranberries, cheese and a crispy onion topping. It features a Detroit-style crust to top things off.

"From Friendsgiving parties to Turkey Day tables, we're thrilled to provide a bold new way to appreciate the traditional Thanksgiving spread," said Kimberly Holowiak, senior brand manager for DIGIORNO. "Our passion is pizza, and we are always looking for unique ways to infuse the fresh-baked taste of DIGIORNO into moments of celebration – even the most traditional holiday dinners."

DiGiorno will be dropping a limited number of the pies on each Wednesday of the month starting November 1 through November 22. The pizzas for November 1 have already sold out, but fans can try again on November 8. They are available on a first come, first serve basis.
