Driver in Oklahoma cited for paper tag issued over a year ago

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — One driver in Oklahoma was busted for driving around with a paper tag that expired over a year ago.

The Oklahoma City Police Department's Traffic Safety Unit highlighted some of the traffic stops they've conducted so far in March.

OKCPD started the first full week of March 2024 by pulling over a vehicle with a paper tag that dated back to March of the previous year.

Police said the driver was cited for illegal tag display and fined $162.
