About 18 homes in one Utah neighborhood have collaborated to create an extraordinary Halloween display known as Barbieland.

The spectacular sight in South Jordan has already drawn visitors from all around the Beehive State. A video featuring Barbieland is going viral on TikTok with over 2 million views after it was posted in just 48 hours.

Lori Remington, also known as "Barn Barbie," said a group of moms and daughters saw the movie together and had the idea afterwards.

"Mainly one of the little girls fell in love with the movie and said 'Mom, we should be Barbie for Halloween and make Barbieland,' and all the moms just said 'Let's do it,'" Remington said.

Now, everyone's slowly falling in love with the idea.

"I think my favorite is Barbie Dream House and Mojo, Dojo Casa House," she said.

KUTV reporter Amanda Gilbert went to the neighborhood on Friday to check it out for herself. She said one of the coolest parts of the whole thing is seeing the street transform from daylight into night.

Neighbor Deidra Smith chose to do an astronaut-themed Barbie home.

"Right now we're just building the fire to come out of it, and I'll have a fog machine," Smith said.

Smith said her favorite part of it all is the sense of togetherness.

"We've been all creating — so everyone's outside creating all their homes," she said. "It's a pink holiday. It's a pink holiday for sure. Let's make it official," she said.

While the residents of Barbieland extend a warm welcome to everyone, they're asking visitors to park their cars and take a walking tour through the neighborhood.
