Get a Whiff of This: Corpse flower is now in bloom at WSU Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — Titan VanCoug, the corpse flower at Washington State University's Vancouver campus, is blooming.
The flower started opening Thursday afternoon.
When the flower blooms, it emits an odor that is often described as rotting flesh.
If you would like to see -- and smell -- the bloom in person, WSU is allowing the public to visit Friday, June 30, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
