CORVALLIS, Ore. (TND) — Some police officers in Oregon stepped into new roles when they got a report of a couple of goats walking down the street, heading south.
Officer Krause and Community Service Officer McMullin, with the city ofCorvallis, tracked down the pair early Friday morning.
They got the goats out of danger but the job isn't completely done.
The goats didn't have identification and nobody came forward to claim them — to take them "baa-ck" home.
The goat owner, or anyone who may recognize the pair, is asked to call Corvallis police at 541-766-6924.
