Lay's accepting new chip flavor ideas with a chance to win $1 million

Lay's has re-introduced its 'Do Us A Flavor' contest in which chip fans can submit their own ideas for a new flavor with the chance to win $1 million and see their creation on store shelves.

The contest was originally launched in 2012, resulting in 14 new creations. Lay's took a break from the contest for seven years but has brought it back through February 21, 2025. Through that date, fans can submit their flavor ideas to DoUsAFlavor.com, submitting up to 10 unique flavor ideas each day.

Fans will be asked to include the name of the flavor, the inspiration for the idea, and key ingredients to be included. The winning flavor will be decided by fan votes. Two runner-up flavors will win $50,000 and the grand prize winner wins $1 million.

Lay's is also re-releasing previous winners which include Chicken & Waffles, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Southern Biscuits & Gravy, Fried Green Tomato, and Crispy Taco.
