TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) — A cabin owner at Camp Nelson came home to a broken deer statue the other day.
When the owner saw their rubber deer, which is used for crossbow practice, they noticed the deer’s legs were broken right off.
Taken back by what they saw, they turned to their Ring camera to get to the bottom of what happened.
Much like the last deer that was caught on camera having fun, this one was also looking for love in all the wrong places.
Just last week, the statue owner told KMPH that a frisky deer wandered onto their property and tried to mate with their crossbow target.

According to the National Park Service, White-Tailed Deer start mating habits during the fall, and that lasts through the winter.
