Massachusetts State Lottery announced that a resident from Mansfield won the first $1 million prize for its new $50 instant ticket game, "Lifetime Millions."

Christine Wilson claimed her prize on Friday and said she plans to use some of her winnings to buy a new SUV, lottery officials said.

She chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.

Massachusetts State Lottery said Wilson purchased her winning ticket at Dub’s Discount Liquors in Mansfield and the store will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale of the ticket.

“Lifetime Millions,” the instant ticket game launched earlier this month, gives lottery players a chance to win $1 million a year for life, lottery officials said.
