GULFPORT, Miss. (WKRC) - Someone accidentally texted the wrong person when asking them to smoke, and that person ended up being a police officer.
Gulfport Police Department in Mississippi posted two photos on its Facebook of text message exchanges between an unknown individual asking a police officer to smoke with them.
The text started from the unidentified number asking what the officer was doing. It continued on eventually asking the officer if he wanted to smoke with the person saying, "Bruh we smoke all the time."
"I think you have the wrong number," replied the officer. The text then comes to an end after the officer sends a photo of himself holding a police badge and a final message, "No cap."
Gulfport Police Department captioned the photos on its Facebook post with a pro tip.
"Pro tip: Before you send the text, double-check the number. Nothing like a wrong number text to really spice up someone's day," said the police department.
