High school football coach arrested after allegedly reporting a prostitute for theft

LAREDO, Texas (WKRC) - A high school football coach was arrested after he allegedly called the police to report a prostitute had stolen money from him.

According to authorities, Rolando Ramos called the police to report a theft on Aug. 19. After they arrived at the scene of the crime, authorities said they discovered Ramos was attempting to pay a prostitute for sexual services. The prostitute allegedly took $100 and ran away.

After the investigation, Ramos was arrested on suspicion of soliciting prostitution.

Laredo Morning Timesreported Ramos was a quarterbacks coach for the Cigarroa High School Toros football team.

In a statement to the Laredo Morning Times, Veronica Castillon from the Laredo Independent School District said, "LISD immediately placed the employee in question on administrative leave. Disciplinary action is pending the outcome of a local law enforcement investigation."
