SEATTLE (KOMO) — Seattle has so many iconic locations that get put on tourists’ "must-see" lists when they visit. One of those locations is the floating home on Lake Union, featured in the classic rom-com, “Sleepless in Seattle.”
That home features so prominently in the movie that many Seattleites may forget that the historic Inn at the Market is also featured in a scene during the movie, right after the conversation Rob Reiner and Tom Hanks have about Hanks’ rear end.
The inn is celebrating its part in the movie along with the 30th anniversary of “Sleepless in Seattle” with special lodging packages starting Sept. 1. Each package is offered at drastically different price points.
