FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (KOMO) — A semi-truck went off the highway Friday morning during rush hour and ended up about 200 feet off the road.
Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Rick Johnson first posted about the crash at 7:17 a.m. saying it occurred at southbound I-5 and South 375th Street in Federal Way.
The semi-truck landed about 200 feet off the roadway. Photos show its trail off of the highway and into the brush leaving a trail of soda behind it, according to Trooper Johnson.
The driver sustained minor injuries. It's unclear what made the driver lose control.
Two lanes of southbound I-5 were blocked as troopers investigated the incident.
