VIDEO: Brewer gets blasted by beer when valve fails

SPRING PARK, Minn. (KMPH) — Back Channel Brewing Co. of Spring Park, Minnesota posted a reel to its social media account after a brewing tank valve malfunctioned.

Brendan, one of the company's beer brewers, was checking systems on a stainless steel tank, and a valve flew out sending a strong stream of beer right into his chest.

He was thrown over ten feet across the room.

Brendan was not phased, drenched in IPA, he got back up and tried to plug the hole.

Another employee comes rushing in to see what happened, the video shows.

The brewery is making light of the incident by naming the 6.5% beer, New England IPA "Blow Black", available in limited supply.
