Volunteer Spirit: Middle Tennessee organization helps 500 older adults on Christmas Day

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A local organization is helping 500 Tennesseans by delivering holiday-themed meals to older adults on Christmas Day.

FiftyForward is dedicated to providing resources for adults 50 and over in Middle Tennessee.

With seven locations in Davidson, Rutherford, and Williamson counties, the organization "provides enrichment opportunities for adults 50 and older to remain engaged in living their lives to the fullest."

Such was the case on Christmas Day, with approximately 45 cars filled with volunteer delivery drivers picking up meals to deliver to those who could benefit from support.

FOX 17 News was able to witness the volunteer spirit on full display.
