Court documents revealed the names of family members killed in a Maury County shooting rampage.

The Maury County Sheriff’s Office says just before 6 a.m. on Oct. 1, Nathaniel Pipkin opened fire on at least three of his family members.

Pipkin is charged with three counts of first degree murder and aggravated assault resulting in death in the fatal shootings of Traci McNeely, Carson Pipkin and a minor. According to an obituary, Kailee Warren, the 11-year-old daughter of Traci McNeely, died suddenly on Oct. 1. Maury County Schools said the sixth grader will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Nathaniel Pipkin is also charged with the attempted first degree murder of Jesse McNeely.

According to investigators, one of the family members escaped the home during the shooting and ran to a neighbor’s house to alert 911. Responding officers found McNeely, Pipkin and Warren dead from gunshot wounds with no suspect in sight.

With assistance from Monteagle Police and the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Nathaniel Pipkin was brought into custody just before 9 a.m. on Oct. 1 more than 100 miles away from the triple murder scene. According to the Maury County Sheriff’s Office, Pipkin was found with multiple guns wearing ballistic body armor.

Multiple law enforcement agencies helped with the investigation, including Metro Police, Coffee County Sheriff's Office, Marion County Sheriff's Office, THP, Grundy County Sheriff's Office and Monteagle Police.
