Beyonce, Regina King, and "Cosby" co-star Raven pay tribute to late Malcolm-Jamal Warner

Stars continue to mourn the loss of Malcolm-Jamal Warner, including those who loved him personally and professionally.
Regina King broke her silence after news broke that the “Cosby Show” alum accidentally drowned due to asphyxia while swimming during a family vacation in Costa Rica on Sunday. Regina and Malcolm dated from 2011 to 2013 after meeting as child stars in the 1980s.
“Some people leave a lasting imprint, not just for who they were but for the energy they carried,” Regina wrote on her Instagram Stories Monday.
“I’m sending prayers filled with love and understanding to your family and loved ones,” the Oscar winner continued next to a photo of Warner on a motorcycle. “Rest easy, Malcolm-Jamal Warner.”
The Huxtable family continues to speak out, following Bill Cosby’s emotional statement on Warner’s death. Malcolm’s on-screen niece Raven-Symone, who played Olivia – the stepdaughter of Denise Huxtable- paid tribute to the actor on Tuesday, July 22.
“Words cannot describe the pain and sadness and surprise that I feel with the recent loss of MJW. He was the big brother,” Raven shared on Instagram in a voice note recording. “He was a beacon. He was one of the most multifaceted, talented men so gentle, and my heart and soul and hugs and kisses go out to his daughter and his wife and his mother.”
Raven continued, “He gave the best advice. He gave the best hugs, and his smile will always be a huge, bright, f----g white smile in my head forever. I love you, and I know you're watching over all of us now. Bye, Malcolm.”

Beyonce remembered the late actor, featuring a dedication to Warner after his fatal drowning. The “Heaven” singer posted a childhood photo of the actor in character as Theodore Huxtable, accompanied by a heartfelt caption.
"Rest in power, Malcolm-Jamal Warner," the website read. "Thanks for being a big part of our shared television history. You will be missed."
The sudden death of Warner has left the entire entertainment industry stunned. Warner leaves behind his wife and 8-year-old daughter, whose names he never shared publicly to protect their privacy. However, the actor spoke highly of his family online, including how he first met his wife.
Rest in peace, Malcolm-Jamal.
