Jelly Roll chokeslams Logan Paul through desk while hosting 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'
Jelly Roll proved he’s got the skills for his upcoming WWE tag team.
The singer was filling in as host on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and doing an interview with Randy Orton, his upcoming WWE “SummerSlam” partner when their opponents, Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul, crashed the set.
First, McIntyre strolled into the studio, praising Jelly Roll’s weight loss but trash talking at the same time.
Orton leapt to Jelly Roll’s defense and began tussling with McIntyre, taking the fight backstage.
Jelly Roll attempted to go to commercial break when YouTuber turned fighter Logan Paul interrupted.
Paul did some serious trash talking, calling Jelly Roll a “greasy, redneck, prison rat” and even slapping him.
But Jelly got the best of him, slapping Paul back before lifting him in the air and slamming him through the desk (which was a breakaway safety one so no one was truly hurt).
This isn’t the first time Jelly and Paul have faced off.
On July 11, the Grammy-nominated musician made his “SmackDown!” debut in Nashville, tagging in to help Orton and sending Paul across the ring.
During his late night interview, Orton was confident in Jelly’s abilities to thrown down in the match.
“I’ve never seen somebody work so hard to get into our ring, to step in our world. It’s a lot harder than you might think watching at home on television or even being there live. So much goes into it, so much pressure,” Orton said. “That adrenaline rush, it’s unlike anything else. And you sir have gone above and beyond any expectations we had for you. Everybody is so proud of you, and I can’t wait for ‘SummerSlam.’”
"SummerSlam" is set for Aug 2 and 3 at MetLife Stadium.
