Patricia Arquette feels right at home in Hollywood.

Arquette spoke with our Courtney Tezeno at the first ever Televerse event in Los Angeles over the weekend, sharing what she loves about the city.

“I’ve been here since 1976it feels like Hollywood is my hometown,” the “Severance” star said.

Arquette was born in in Chicago, Illinois in 1968 and she briefly lived in Virginia before settling in Los Angeles.

“I’ve seen it change a lot and also not change at the same time,” Arquette said. “I really love to drive around L.A. with no maps no machine telling me where to go. I love my little alleys and backways. I have a lot of memories in this city [like being] 14 and ditching school here or going to this club.”

Arquette is nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama category for her role as Harmony Cobel in “Severance.”

She’s been nominated a total of eight times over the years, and won twice, first for her role in “Medium” in 2005, and later as Dee Dee Blanchard, the infamous mother of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, in “The Act” in 2019.

“I was like, asleep, and then somebody called me. I really was out of it, and I was grateful and surprised and blown away that our show got 27. So happy that my castmates got recognized, and that Ben [Stiller] and Jessica [Lee Gagne], and it's just amazing,” Arquette said of her nomination this year.

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards will air Sept. 14 on CBS at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT
