(WZTV) – A Tennessee woman captured some visitors to her home on video over the weekend after a mamma bear decided to pay her a visit.

April Scott says her family was visited by the black bear and her three cubs last Saturday evening. The video was taken outside their Jamestown home located near the Pall Mall area.

After some concern about the population of black bears declining in Tennessee, a multi-state study of the black bear population was conducted in 2018. Indicators showed an increase in the population which was estimated to be about 7,000 in the state.
