CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Moment baby elephant is born at Fresno Chaffee Zoo

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) — The moment a baby elephant was born at the Fresno Chafee Zoo was all caught on video by a surveillance camera early Monday morning.

The zoo announced Tuesday that the mother elephant Amahle gave birth to her calf Tuesday morning, with video of the new baby elephant.

Later on Tuesday the zoo also release video showing the moment the calf was born.

This is the second calf born recently at the zoo after a nearly 2 year long wait.
