WATCH: Stranger joins Salvation Army bell ringer to sing Christmas carol at New York mall

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSTM) — The Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign is underway, and there was a special moment of Christmas cheer for a bell ringer at Destiny USA this week.

Salvation Army Major Charles Roberts often sings Christmas carols when he rings the bell for donations, and on Wednesday, a passerby stopped and asked if he could sing with him. The pair serenaded shoppers with a rendition of "Joy to the World."
