There's a new comedy on Netflix about NASCAR and some familiar NASCAR faces will be making cameos in the series. Ryan Blaney. Austin Dillon and Cole Custer all went on set pre-pandemic and filmed some scenes for the new show called "The Crew"

"Definitely not going to become an actor any time soon," said Blaney. "I think that's gonna be a good show. Kevin James was amazing, big fan of his."

The show stars James as a crew chief for the fictionalBobby Spencer Racing team. The show also stars Jillian Mueller, Freddie Stroma, arah Stiles, Gary Anthony William, and Dan Ahdoot.

"I don't know what to expect honestly," said Custer. "It's just amazing just how good those people are at their profession. It was definitely something I will never forget."

Added Dillon,"Just the different lines that we got to run through the time that we had there. It was a blast to see how it worked. Kevin James was awesome to work with."

The drivers were also impress at how hard the show worked to be true to the sport.

"They did a really nice job of researching the correct things," said Blaney. "It's a comedy show, but it's not making fun of us at all. They make jokes, but it's all in good fun and they do a really good job of doing that."
