SEATTLE (KOMO) - A fish caused a two-hour power outage in South Seattle on Wednesday.

Seattle City Light says a bird dropped a fish on power lines, causing an outage for 172 customers. By 2:15 p.m., power had been restored.

The South Park Community Center was out of power. A manager there said he heard a loud bang at 12:19 p.m..

And in an only-in-Seattle question, City Light had to reveal the fate of the fish. It didn't make it.

City Light said the fish may have been a salmon and the bird an eagle.
