PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (WJLA) — A large snake was responsible for a power outage Monday in Virginia.
Officers found the snake at the intersection of Prince William Parkway and Sudley Manor Drive in Prince William County, according to a Facebook post from police.
A crash investigator and animal control officer removed the reptile unharmed and it was released nearby.
Authorities are reminding drivers that when traffic signals are malfunctioning due to an outage – or even a snake – to treat the traffic light as a stop sign and use caution before proceeding.
